Why businesses order logo stickers

A logo sticker is the cheapest piece of branding that people choose to keep. Dropped into an online order, handed out at a market stall or a trade show, stuck on the laptops and toolboxes of your own team, it puts your mark on things your customers carry around every day.

Because they are printed on waterproof, laminated vinyl rated for three to five years outdoors, they last on water bottles, cars and equipment instead of peeling off in a week — which is the whole point of a sticker with your name on it.

Choosing the shape for your logo

Most logos look best as a die cut: we cut around the outline of the mark with an even border, so the sticker is the logo rather than a logo on a white square. Marks that were drawn inside a circle or a badge suit circle or oval stickers; long wordmarks and logos with a tagline or a website underneath usually fit a rectangle.

If you want something easy to hand out by the hundred, kiss cut stickers keep the logo on a backing square that peels in one go. For a shop window or a car, static clings go on and off glass without any adhesive.

Getting the logo file right

Send the vector original if you have it — AI, EPS, SVG or PDF — so edges stay sharp at any size. A PNG or PSD works too when it is exported at 300 DPI at the size you are ordering. Save it on a transparent background so we cut around the logo and not around a white box, and keep fine type at 6 pt or larger.

Brand colours matter more on a logo than anywhere else. Screens glow and ink does not, so we print with a calibrated colour profile, check every file by hand and say in the proof note if a colour will shift noticeably. When an exact match is critical, ask for a sample pack first.
