What's the difference between die cut and kiss cut?
Die cut goes all the way through the backing, so the sticker comes out in its own shape. Kiss cut leaves the sticker on a square of backing — easier to peel, easier to hand out.

Custom static clings, explained
Stickers without the sticky
A static cling has no adhesive at all. It holds to smooth glass by cling alone, so it peels off cleanly, leaves no residue and can be put back up again. That makes it the right choice for anything temporary or anything you are not allowed to stick on permanently.
Clings are cut to the size and shape you order, and they come on a backing sheet to store them between uses.
What static clings are for
Shop windows and doors with opening hours, sale notices and seasonal decorations; car and van windows for parking permits, dealer branding or a business name; office glass partitions; and rented spaces where adhesive is not an option.
Because they reposition freely, clings are also handy for things that change: a monthly promotion, a holiday display or a sign that moves between locations.
Sizes and quantities
Presets run from 2″ to 5″, and any custom size from 1″ to 36″ per side can be entered for larger window graphics. Orders start at ten pieces, with the price per piece falling as the run grows.
Clings stick to smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass and mirrors. They are not meant for textured walls, painted surfaces or outdoor exposure on the outside of a window; apply them on the inside of the glass, where they are out of the weather.
Artwork and printing
Upload PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, AI, EPS or PSD files up to 25 MB. Vector is best; a raster file should be exported at 300 DPI at the size you want printed. If the cling will be read through the glass from outside, say so when you review the proof so the design reads the right way from the street.
Every order gets a free digital proof in your Proof Room showing the exact size, material and cut line. Changes are free and unlimited, and nothing goes on press until you approve it. We print in Itasca, Illinois and hand the parcel to the carrier within 1–3 business days of your approval; most US orders arrive three to five days after that. Standard shipping is free on orders over $100.
Questions about static clings
How does a static cling stay on the glass?
By cling alone — there is no adhesive. It holds to smooth, clean glass and peels away without leaving residue.
Can static clings be reused?
Yes. Peel the cling off, put it back on its backing sheet and apply it again later. Keep it clean and flat between uses so it keeps clinging well.
Can I put a static cling on the inside of a car or shop window?
Yes, the inside of the glass is the best place for it: the cling is protected from rain and the car wash. If it should read correctly from outside, say so when you review the proof.
What surfaces do static clings work on?
Smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass and mirrors. They do not hold on textured, painted or porous surfaces; for those, choose an adhesive sticker.

What happens after I pay?
We check your file by hand and open your Proof Room. Approve it and we print and ship in 1–3 business days. Ask for a change and a new proof comes back, as many rounds as you need.

My file is low resolution. Now what?
We say so in the proof and suggest the fix, usually a larger export or the vector original. The short version lives in the artwork guidelines: 300 DPI or vector, 1/8″ safe zone, bleed added by us.

Will the colour match my screen?
Close, but screens glow and ink does not. We print with a calibrated profile and flag anything that will shift noticeably. Ask for a sample pack if an exact match matters.
